Exclusive Interview: Brian Tee on ‘Mortal Kombat: Legacy’ Season 2

Brian Tee had a small but memorable role in The Wolverine this summer as Noburo Mori, the fiance of Mariko Yashida (Tao Okamoto) who was defenestrated by Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). But Tee is better known for playing D.K. in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Tee has also appeared in several TV series including “Grimm,” “Burn Notice,” “Bones,” “Crash,” “Jericho,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Lie To Me.” And in the newly released second season of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy,” Tee plays the iconic character, Liu Kang.

Last week, Tee dropped by the CraveOnline studio in Los Angeles to tell us about his favorite characters in the first Mortal Kombat game, how he was recruited for “Legacy,” the darker incarnation of Liu Kang in the new season and how he altered his fighting style for the role.

Tee also shares his favorite Liu Kang Fatality and talks about which characters he gets to interact with in the new season of “Legacy” before discussing his turn in The Wolverine and his upcoming film, Wedding Palace

The entire second season of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” is now online. You can also catch our previous video interviews with “Legacy” stars Ian Anthony Dale (Scorpion) and Samantha Jo (Kitana)!
