Mortal Thursday has arrived.
Warner Bros. Digital and Machinima have released the entire second season of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” Season 2, with all ten episodes immediately available to watch on Youtube. Once again, Kevin Tancharoen is the director of all ten episodes and the co-writer with Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson.
This season, the tournament finally begins as the classic Mortal Kombat characters are brought together in the present. Ian Anthony Dale and Samantha Jo reprise their roles as Scorpion and Kitana, respectively with Casper Van Dien taking over the part of Johnny Cage and Brian Tee as a very different Liu Kang. The original Shang Tsung from the first Mortal Kombat movie, Cary Tagawa is reprising his role for this web series.
Also in the cast this season are Harry Shum, Jr. as Kuai Liang, Mark Dacascos as Kung Lao, Eric Jacobus as Kurtis Stryker, David Lee McInnis as Raiden, Eric Steinberg as Sub-Zero and Michelle Lee as Mileena.
The first episode is embedded below and features an introduction to Liu Kang and a very tense reunion with Kung Lao after a brutal fight. And from there, the saga continues to its conclusion.
