Preview: Green Lantern #23

There's trouble brewing once again in the realm of the Emerald Knights. It seems the power battery that generates the energy that Green Lanterns use to do their jobs is burning out – and not just for the green, but for the violet, the orange… something's going on that's leading up to the next big event, called Lights Out.

“There will be plenty of action,” writer Robert Venditti recently said. “In one way or another, each Corps is going to pay a price.”

There also happens to be a new Star Sapphire named Prixiam Nol-Anj, who has just escaped imprisonment in the science cells of Oa and is out to smack Hal Jordan around. How does she fit in?

As far as reviews go, he believes the main point of being a critic is not to pass yourself off as the final arbiter of quality passing holy judgment on a work of art, but rather just to share opinions so that the reader can decide whether or not the critic is someone whose tastes generally align with theirs. If so, that reviewer is one whose work you can trust if you're curious about a particular title. If not, cue loud, angry internet vitriol.
