On a day they officially fast-track a sequel for Man of Steel, Warner Bros. officially let go of Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to Dumb and Dumber. I guess Warners has a bias.
Bobby and Peter Farrelly have written the script for the sequel to their original comedy starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. (Who, by the way, are still attached to reprise their roles for the new film.) The Farrellys can now shop their movie to another studio.
Crave’s MovieWeb site reported the budget is an estimated $30 … which apparently is still too much for Warner Bros. to take a chance — especially since The Incredible Burt Wonderstone failed with a similar budget size. We’ll let you know if Dumb and Dumber To finds a new home.
