EXCLUSIVE: Crackle.com Announces ‘Kill Count!’

Hey kids! Do you like horror movies? Do you like ultraviolence? Do you like free movies? Crackle.com has just announced a brand new Halloween event involving all three. It’s called Kill Count, and from Wednesday, October 19th through Monday, October 31st it’ll take over the popular free movie website Crackle, and allow you to not only watch a host of unedited, gory horror films for free, but also catalogue your favorite kills and sign up horror sweepstakes. We got the exclusive first look at the teaser for the event right here, and join us below for more details… including a full (incredibly long) list of all the free horror movies you’ll be able watch… for free!

Also…

Crackle will also allow users to interact with the ‘Kill Count’ collection via Facebook through an online sweepstakes—“13 Severed Heads in 13 Days.” Each day during the sweepstakes period, users will be asked to answer a trivia question about a given ‘Kill Count’ movie. Thirteen films featuring the craziest “kills” from the ‘Kill Count’ collection will be a part of this competition such as HACK, THE GRUDGE 3 and NIGHT OF THE CREEPS, among others. One participant per day who correctly answers the daily trivia question and submits an entry will be chosen at random to receive an appropriately frightful severed head prop.”

Kill Count will include a wide variety of horror films, big and small. If you don’t know what to watch, there will be an awesome to pick a film based on the number and style of murders contained therein, which is actually a really cool feature. Here’s the complete list:
