There’s pleading the fifth, and then there’s farting so loud that detectives no longer have a desire to hear what you have to say.

This is obviously a story about the latter because that’s what the kids want to read about these days.

According to ABC 33/40, a 24-year-old Kansas City man had one hell of a defense planned for his interrogation on drug and gun offenses, and by that we mean that he kept farting so loud that the detective interrogating him said to hell with it and left the room without finishing his line of questioning.

Police said Sean Sykes brought “excessive flatulence” to the table instead of answers to why he was in possession of three firearms despite the fact that he’s a felon. The detective interrogating him never had a chance to ask him about possession with intent to sell cocaine either thanks to Sykes’s ability to repeatedly drop ass in the interrogation room.

Sykes appeared in court last Monday to defend himself against those firearm and drug chargers, but it’s unknown if he just let his attorney do the talking instead of his ass this time around.
