Well, as they say, the proof is in the Snapchat video. People say that, right?
Teresa Ward, school support worker ironically in charge of behavior at North Cestrian school in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, has been suspended from her job after a Snapchat video showing her snorting a white powder off a student’s finger went viral.
The ten-second video shows the 37-year-old leaning over a student’s in order to snort up the powder. And let’s just assume it’s cocaine, OK? OK. First this Snapchat of Ward hanging out with students was shared.
And then the big one: Ward snorting ‘something’ up.
Here’s what a mom of one student who attends the school for kids ages 13 to 17 had to say:
“My son was sent a Snapchat video from another student of Teresa Ward taking drugs with students at the school. The video has gone all through the school. My son showed it to me and you can see the other children in their blazers with her. The screen shot of the video was taken on the 17th of June, so the video must have been taken around the same time. In the video she is lounging around on the settee – it looks like she’s wearing her pajamas. She looks like she’s snorting off a student’s finger. You couldn’t make it up that she’s in charge of behavior at the school.”
While Ward was suspended, Ward eventually resigned, although the incident is still under investigation.
Here’s what Ward had to say about all this to The Sun.
“I’m going to lose everything. I’ve not even seen it. Nobody in my family knows about it, I no longer work there. I’m going to lose absolutely everything for a stupid two minutes of my life. I’ve got two boys, I’m a single mum. I don’t want to lose my boys.It wasn’t even drugs, I had a drugs test. I don’t even know what it was, these weren’t kids, they were 19.”
Hey, we all snort non-drug substances these days, right? Right? Anyone?
