Most Craved Does Indiana Jones 5 and Cloverfield!

The future is now, and the future is franchises. This week, Indiana Jones 5 went into development and 10 Cloverfield Lane tried to change the way film series operate, and Most Craved is here to talk about the past, present and future of entertainment and figure out where the hell we’re going and whether or not we actually want to go there.

So join your hosts William Bibbiani (Crave), Jenna Busch (Legion of Leia) and Silas Lesnick (Coming Soon) as they debate whether or not we should be excited for another Indiana Jones movie, and whether Disney will abandon the expanded history of Indiana Jones the way they did with Star Wars. Will Harrison Ford ever be recast as Indiana Jones? Have we seen the last of Shia LaBeouf?

And is 10 Cloverfield Lane really doing anything new by tacking a reference to another movie in its title? Does turning an otherwise standalone film into a franchise installment do the actual story any favors? And will studios like Sony succeed in their plan to jumpstart animated, alternate reality versions of their franchises while the live-action versions are still at the cinemas?
