Listen: Pusha T and Jay Z Partner Up for ‘Drug Dealers Anonymous’

Backstory: Beyoncé’s political symbolism during her Super Bowl halftime show performance inspired outspoken conservative pundit Tomi Lahren to remark that she was “perpetuating the great battle of the races.” Lahren then leveled her damnation at Bey’s husband, Jay Z. “Your husband was a drug dealer,” she said. “For fourteen years, he sold crack cocaine.”

Now, months later, Jay-Z has responded with a new track he made with Pusha T, “Drug Dealers Anonymous.” The track calls back to Jay’s more confident ’90s flow, and features a snippet of Lahren’s remarks, followed by Jay-Z’s nose-thumbing verse: “Fourteen-year drug dealer and still counting / Who deserves the Medal of Freedom? My accountant.”

He continues: “Bitch I been brackin’ since the ’80s / Google me baby, you crazy / ’89 in London pull the Benz up / Type it in, Google’s your friend, bruh,” he raps. “Life made me ambidextrous / Countin’ with my right, whipping white with my left wrist / Damn Daniel / FBI keep bringing them all white vans through.”

Then things get political on Pusha’s end. “America’s nightmare’s in Flint / Children of a lesser God when your melanin’s got a tint / And I can’t even mention what I sent or what I spent / ’Cause my name in 18 wheelers is evidence,” he spits.

The track initially went up on Tidal, but it’s popping up on the streams:
