March Madness 2016: Pics Of MTSU’s Upset Over Michigan State

Michigan State had a 96 percent chance to beat little Middle Tennessee State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Friday. In fact, the Spartans were the favorite to win the entire Tournament, according to the Vegas sportsbooks.

Instead, the 16.5 point underdog Blue Raiders decided to become just the eighth No. 15 seed in history to take down a No. 2 seed.

Even more stunning? It was a matchup in which the Spartans never lead. Not once. Not by a single point.

Here are the best pictures from the moment the Blue Raiders knew they were moving on to play Syracuse and Michigan State knew their national title dreams were dashed.

There are no pictures of the millions, including myself, who threw their brackets into a dumpster fire following this game.
