Full Stream: Kanye & Kendrick Find The Fire on ‘No More Parties in L.A.’

It’s a slippery slope to bank on – much less publish – the words of a notoriously slimy sex-tape vixen whose only intel connection is matrimony, but that’s just what music blogs around the world did a little over a week ago when publishing Kim Kardashian’s promise-tweet that husband Kanye West would deliver a new song every Friday in the run-up to the February 11 release of his hotly anticipated new album Swish.

The prediction followed the release of “Facts,” a painfully disappointing song that marked the first Kanye offering of the year. But the following week, #EveryFriday went up in smoke when Kanye failed to deliver. Nevertheless, the gauche idiot beacon took to Twitter again to clarify that her man’s deadline had been delayed by a flight to Italy, but that he was still planning to drop “No More Parties In L.A.”. Apparently, he had also written “90 bars on the plane.”

Finally, Kim’s bullshit aside, Kanye has made G.O.O.D. on his promise and dropped the six-minute-plus track, a fantastic offering featuring a powerful verse from Kendrick Lamar, built on a sample from Junie Morrison. Listen below.

Kanye is also slated to headline this year’s Governor’s Ball Festival, which packs an incredible lineup.
