Screenshot Emerges of Halo 3: ODST Running on Xbox One’s Halo: MCC

What you see above is the first ever screenshot of Halo 3: ODST running on Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Although it doesn’t showcase a lot, the benefits of a higher resolution can be seen in full force.

343 Industries announced back in December that it would be remastering Halo 3: ODST to add to the Halo: MCC package. It will be sold as DLC, but those who purchased Halo: MCC between its launch date of November 11th and December 19th will receive the remastered game for free as a form of apology for the widespread issues the game faced for months following launch.

The Halo 3: ODST remaster will run at 1080p with 60 frames per second. While multiplayer and campaign will be included, fan-favorite Firefight mode will not.
