Here are all the details about one of the biggest LEGO sets arriving in stores in 2026.

LEGO’s largest ever Lord of the Rings leaked

Fulfilling a long-awaited dream of Lord of the Rings and LEGO enthusiasts, the company’s largest-ever Lord of the Rings set, Minas Tirith, will reportedly be released in 2026. This time around, LEGO’s bringing Minas Tirith, the iconic capital city of Gondor from Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy.

According to a reliable leaker, Brick Tap, the Minas Tirith set will drop on June 1, 2026. The behemoth boasts 8,278 pieces and comes with a $600-$650 price tag. This makes Minas Tirith the sixth-largest Lego set ever (by pieces). Moreover, the new set will reportedly feature at least 10 minifigures, including Gandalf the White, King Aragorn, Pippin, Denethor, Faramir, four Gondor soldiers, and Shadowfax.

The LEGO Minas Tirith will also include a microscale seven-tiered structure with a rocky cliff at the center. The set is likely to be part of the LEGO Icons theme and is expected to carry an 18+ age rating.

Entering the LOtR LEGO universe, Minas Tirith will join the ranks of Rivendell (2023), Barad-dûr (2024), and The Shire (2025) as one of the largest LOtR sets. Leaks are also hinting at the launch of a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Diorama featuring Ganondorf in March 2026.
