Thom Yorke Drops More Radiohead Hints, Says He’s “Overdubbing” New Tracks

Thom Yorke has dropped the second teaser in as many days in regards to the new Radiohead album, sending out a tweet featuring lyrics of the band’s 2003 track ‘Wolf at the Door’ followed by a tweet saying that “overdubs” are now being done on the upcoming LP.

The lyrics sheet for ‘Wolf at the Door’ features a few notes (presumably penned by Yorke) dotted around it that would eventually become lyrics that were implemented into the song, which likely means that the band are rooting through their old recordings whilst they’re in the studio working on the follow-up to The King of Limbs.

Yorke then followed this image with the tweet: “Stanley & me going thru15years of discarded words & pictures..!while overdubs happen in Radiohead studio.2nd day only.” Stanley Donwood is the artist who has worked on all of Radiohead’s album and poster art since 1994.

If Yorke is suggesting that this is only the second day the band have been inside the studio, this means that the image he posted yesterday of a vinyl spinning on a turntable was likely not the new LP.

Regardless of this, it can’t be long now until we finally get to hear the band’s next output. We can’t wait.
