Gamescom 2014: Sony Teases Tomorrow’s Bloodborne Gameplay Trailer

We’ve known for a few weeks now that Bloodborne will be playable on the Gamescom show floor. What we didn’t know for certain is whether or not new gameplay would be shown.

Sony has posted a short teaser on Instagram that doesn’t show much other than a door. However, it says the following in the description box:

Bloodborne gameplay trailer. Tomorrow. #PlayStationGC

So yes, we’re going to see some high-resolution gameplay to get a better idea of what this PS4 exclusive is all about.

Below is the teaser in question:

If you’re familiar with the Souls series, you know Bloodborne is going to be a brutally challenging game. Although it’s going to do a few things differently, namely by delivering quicker-paced gameplay, it’s going to adhere to From Software’s design philosophy that a well-designed, difficult game is a compelling one.

Bloodborne takes place in a world where a virus has severely mutated the human and animal population. Its dark, uninviting environments and next-gen visuals could interweave a dash of horror into the From Software line-up.
