Ryse: Son of Rome isn’t Coming to PS4, Says Deep Silver

News that Ryse: Son of Rome is no longer Xbox One exclusive broke earlier today.  To many, it came as a shocking surprise. However, a future of the title on PS4 looks grim.

Deep Silver, the publisher for Ryse: Son of Rome on PC, replied with the following on Twitter when asked if the game will be coming to PS4:

Not by us. You could ask @crytek for non-PC questions!

Deep Silver will only be publishing physical PC copies, so there’s still a chance that it’ll come to PS4 published by a different company. That said, Microsoft has a long history of signing console exclusive deals, making the likelihood of a PS4 port unlikely.

Ryse: Son of Rome‘s PC version will have several improvements, including additional graphics options and 4K resolution support. This has led many, including myself, to believe that it’ll become the new benchmark for PC games. This is a game made by Crytek, after all.
