Osheaga And Boots And Hearts Music Fests Kick Off This Weekend

The summer festival circuit is still in full swing, with two major music fests starting up in the next few days: the annual three-day Osheaga outdoor concert will take place in Montreal and features headlines Outkast, while the Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Bowmanville, Ontario will feature a number of big country music stars.

Osheaga, which takes places every year at Parc Jean Drapeau on Ile-Ste-Helene in Montreal. is boosting acts like Outkast (who are returning after a brief hiatus), Ryan Hemsworth, locals Sam Roberts Band, Foster The People, Skrillex, and Band of Horses. General admission tickets are already sold out but there are still single day tickets as well as gold passes (click here). It runs August 1-3.

Meanwhile, next door in Ontario, the country music event Boots and Hearts Music Festival takes place this weekend at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The lineup includes a number of high-calibre country music artists like Toby Keith, Hunter Hayes, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Gord Bamford (who took the country music world by storm this year winning five Canadian Country Music Awards of the seven he was nominated for).
