The Last of Us Remastered Screenshots Highlight 1080p Visuals

Sony has released a batch of official screenshots for The Last of Us: Remastered, and boy it sure does look pretty.

While the original version of the game certainly pushed the PS3 to its limits, the remastered edition also looks set to offer one of the best visual experiences on the PS4, too.

On a blog posted on the official PlayStation site, game’s jump to 60fps was touted as being “silky smooth,” with its native 1080p resolution ridding the game of jaggies whilst also providing a much more crisp post-apocalyptic environment for players to explore.

Sony has also revealed to Polygon that the game will receive a launch day patch that will introduce a “photo mode,” which will allow players to easily capture and share images of Joel and Ellie’s journey through the urban wilderness.
