It’s almost July, and that means it’s time for another group of free PS Plus games. This time around we’re being treated to some quality titles, one of which will be the highest rated game offered for free to PS4 owners yet.
Seen above, our PS Plus games for July 2014 are:
- TowerFall Ascension – PS4
- Strider – PS4
- Dead Space 3 – PS3
- Vessel – PS3
- Muramasa Rebirth – PS Vita
- Doki Doki Universe – PS Vita
TowerFall Ascension and Dead Space 3 stand out from the bunch. TowerFall remains one of the highest rated titles of 2014 at 87 Metascore due to its joyful local multiplayer experience. Meanwhile, Dead Space 3 is a huge AAA game worth over 20 hours of quality gameplay.

As the PS4’s software library begins to take shape, we’ll begin to see larger titles introduced to its PS Plus library. Many have been hoping for Knack, and it seems likely that it’ll come at some point. For now, enjoy the indie game extravaganza.
