Metro: Last Light for PS4 Gets Teased with Gameplay on Vine

One of the most enjoyable parts of a new generation of consoles is comparing the noticeable differences of hardware past and present. In the case of this day and age, comparisons are made easy with next-gen versions of some of the better-looking last-gen games.

Take Metro: Last Light for example. It was an absolutely stunning stunning gam when it came out last year, pushing the PS3 and Xbox 360 to their limits. Its PC version was such a beast that it was used as a benchmark for some PC gamers.

A4 Games recently announced that they would be bringing Metro: Last Light to the Xbox One and PS4. For those who have played it, it sounds like a great way to test their new console early in its lifecycle. For the millions who haven’t even touched it, it could be enough to get them to invest.

Although a release window for the PS4 and Xbox One versions are unannounced, A4 Games has teased their development of the next-gen upgrades with a video of Vine. It briefly shows the PS4 version, and while the shaky camera doesn’t do a good job of spotlighting the improvement, it’s the best insight we’ve been offered to this point.
