Alien Isolation Gets a Trailer Showing High Level of Detail and Cast

If you’re a fan of Alien, or have enjoyed any of the films, you’re probably excited about Alien Isolation. If not, you should be.

A new trailer for Alien Isolation has been released, and in it members of the development team discuss their efforts to put together a dynamic cast. Footage of motion capture and voice acting can be seen, showing the level of craftsmanship going into making the presentation as believable as possible. You thought it was scary watching an Alien hunt humans down? What if you were one of those humans? Yeah, that’s a nightmare inducing thought.

Alien Isolation is being developed by The Creative Assembly, the same team responsible for the award winning Total War franchise. Although the game is being developed for five platforms (Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and PS4), a lot of effort is going into utilizing next-gen hardware. As seen in the trailer, the level of detail in the environments is something Alien video games have never seen.
