Karnivool Announce Groovin’ The Moo Aussie Sideshows

Karnivool will supplement their 2014 Groovin’ The Moo appearance with four Australian shows in April and May.

The boys will hit Sydney, Fremantle and Melbourne twice in addition to their six appearances with GTM with tickets available from Monday, March 31.

Ian Kenny talked to Crave earlier in the week about his hectic past year and splitting time between the hugely successful Birds Of Tokyo and Karnivool.

“It’s always a bit of a challenge,” Kenny said of his two bands which both topped the ARIA album charts during a three-month window last year.

“You’ve got to kind of work out the best way to work on your time management and make sure you’re there for what needs to be done. It’s a full-time job when you’re doing two bands especially two bands that have the kind of demands that these two do. But it’s good. It’s a full-time job that I’m really enjoying.”

Kenny is currently with Birds in LA, promoting 2013’s March Fires, but did say both bands had been actively writing new material.

His busy year will see Perth singer send time across the globe- he’ll up to a little more promo in the States after GTM before hitting Europe for a festival run with Karnivool.
