Watch Dogs Release Date May Have Been Revealed By Sony

Watch Dogs’ release date has been up in the air for a while now, ever since it was unexpectedly delayed in 2013. However, a listing on the Sony Entertainment Network has the game’s release date set as June 30th, 2014, which would fall in line with Ubisoft’s claim that the game would release in the second quarter of the year.

Of course, this may be a placeholder date in order for pre-orders to be taken, or even a mistake on Sony’s behalf, but the fact that the listing hasn’t yet been removed seems to indicate that this could well be the launch date for the heavily anticipated action-adventure game.

Watch Dogs was previously slated for a release in late 2013, but in October of the same year Ubisoft pushed this release date back in order to “deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming.” The game is set to be released on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360.
