Deep Down for PS4 Trademarked in North America

Capcom has trademarked Deep Down in the U.S., hinting at the game being localized for North America.

The PS4’s exclusive game list for 2014 is a bit soft, and can certainly use the help of Deep Down. Many gamers considered it one of the most exciting upcoming prospects for the PS4. Unfortunately, Capcom quickly labeled it as Japanese-only. North American and European gamers quickly responded with requests to have the game brought to their native lands. Capcom has remained silent since.

Deep Down’s free-to-play nature and technical prowess make a great fit for the PS4. Sony would be mistaken not to urge Capcom to localize it for other countries.

Deep Down will release in Japan in the coming months.
