Call of Duty‘s Zombies mode has been an iconic mainstay in the series since 2008. There’s nothing quite like battling hordes of zombies with your buddies. Well, except for if they were cyborg zombies instead. But that doesn’t exist, right?
Activision has turned to cyborg zombies for its next Call of Duty game. These guys (and gals, presumably) are quick and don’t go down easy. Their metal skeleton is much more resistant to bullets and frag grenades than we’re used to. It’s almost like Skynet has become self-aware.
Now, when I say next Call of Duty game, I don’t mean the next Treyarch release. What I mean is Call of Duty: Online, China’s upcoming free-to-play release scheduled for a debut in January. Bummed? You definitely will be after seeing the video below which shows these monsters in action:
The setting, characters, and cyborg zombies would be a perfect fit for a North American release, so the best we can do is hope that 2014’s Call of Duty iteration includes something like this.
