Kings Of Leon Add To Unique Australian Tour

Kings Of Leon will be in Australia in a couple of weeks promoting their new album, Mechanical Bull, and have added a unique fan experience to their one-stop Aussie visit.

Playing a single show at Sydney Harbour to celebrate last month’s latest release, Kings Of Leon have added another show to what is shaping up to be a pretty unique tour.

The band’s Sydney Harbour gig on November 18 will be seen exclusively by fans who won tickets in a Channel [V] supported promotion, however the Nashville four-piece have added a second show for their huge Australian following- a more accessible performance two nights later at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.

It will be the ARIA Chart topping group’s first ‘intimate’ Australian performance since their 2006 tour, when Sydney was also gifted by a close-up Enmore Theatre show, and the first visit Down Under since their 2011 arena scale tour.

Mechanical Bull shot straight to the top of the ARIA Charts, following on from the previous No.1 success of Come Around Sundown (2010) and Only By The Night (2008).

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, November 13 and will be non-transferable in an attempt to ward off scalpers.
