Microsoft Reveals Holiday Xbox 360 Value Bundle Lineup

Microsoft has emphasized to consumers that it will support the Xbox 360 well beyond the transition to the next-generation, with a promise to keep them on the supply lines for another three years. This holiday season they will push harder than ever to sell their second iteration of Xbox.

This holiday season three Xbox 360 bundles will be available including the following:

  • 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures, and Forza Horizon$399
  • 250GB Xbox 360 with Halo 4 and Tomb Raider – $299
  • 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, Kinect Sports: Season Two, and Kinect Adventures$299

These SKUs feature the new E model of Xbox 360 with Xbox One style aesthetics. They will arrive this week on store shelves and for a limited time only, from October 13th to January 4th, each will be available for $50 off the marked price.

With the Xbox One debuting at $499, it’s in Microsoft’s best interest to continue marketing the Xbox 360. $249 looks a lot better than $499 when it comes to holiday shopping for the average American, and the system’s large and established composition of games is alluring.

Black Friday is coming in less than two months and will feature the competitive current-gen platforms in addition to the Xbox One and PS4. Consumers have a lot of options when shopping around this year. Stay tuned to find out how it all goes down.
