Titanfall for PlayStation Spotted in Developer Video

Titanfall is one of the Xbox One’s most promising console exclusives, but it might not remain that way forever.

A two-month old video posted by GameInformer has revealed something about Titanfall that its developer, Respawn Entertainment, would rather not be made public. The video includes footage of a development kit which has been purposefully blurred out. Why is it blurred out? Well, it has a PS3 controller attached.

While it might not be solid evidence of the game coming to PlayStation family, Respawn’s unclear response to questions about Titanfall coming to PlayStation leaves us scratching our heads. Given the studio isn’t first-party, it is very likely that Microsoft paid for timed-exclusivity on Xbox One. If true, there was lots of money involved. Whether or not that pays off is yet to be determined, but if the game’s success at E3 is any indication it could be one of the best decisions Microsoft has made so far with its next-gen console.
