Call of Duty: Ghosts Will Look Better on PC Than Any Other Platform

Many forget Call of Duty originally was a PC exclusive. The series’ console friendliness has caused its presence on PC to be misplaced. That changes this year with Call of Duty: Ghosts.

During a phone interview with Kotaku, Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin shared the following:

Now, PC has its own set of assets. It’s going to look better than any Call of Duty we’ve ever made on PC.

Consequently, system requirements will be higher than ever before for Call of Duty, but with noticeable benefit. Rubic said that despite the PS4 and Xbox One having phenomenal visuals, they won’t be able to deliver quite as high of visual fidelity as the PC on its highest settings.

Despite this incongruity between the versions, Infinity Ward is confident that gamers from each platform will be satisfied. The 60 frames per second, cohesive shooter that has been a top-seller for an entire generation will be back with more explosive action than ever before.
