Lewis Hamilton Will Star in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Lewis Hamilton will star in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, with the Formula One world champion set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming FPS.

Footage obtained by French TV station M6 reveals Hamilton recording some of his lines for the game in front of a green screen, which include: “Captain, news reports coming on about the gateway if you want to join us” and “I’m right behind you”. Hamilton has reportedly filmed six scenes for the game, which is set to release on November 4th.

Hamilton will not be the first celebrity to have made an appearance in a CoD game, with Kevin Spacey, Jason Statham, Kiefer Sutherland, Ice Cube and Sarah Michelle Gellar having all previously made cameos in the series. Even Infinite Warfare already features a confirmed cameo, with UFC superstar Conor McGregor set to make his acting debut in the game.

There’s no word yet on what role Hamilton will play in the game, though with only six scenes it’s unlikely that he will be a prominent fixture of the FPS. The racer also discussed his experience with playing video games in an interview with M6, saying: “I remember growing up with Super Mario, where the graphics were outdated at the time, but that’s how it was back in the day. It’s crazy to see how far it has come – it’s insane.

Discussing his appearance in Infinite Warfare, he added: “I loved it, it was an incredible experience. I’m incredibly honoured to be part of this game – I grew up playing it.”
