Kanye West Leads Epic Prayer to Get His Family Back Together in Instagram Video (Dude, It’s Never Going to Happen)

Kanye West is calling on a higher power to help get his family back together. In a recent Instagram post, the born-again Christian and rapper whose name has been formally changed to “Ye” shared a Thanksgiving prayer that focused heavily on his hopes for reconciliation with his former wife Kim Kardashian and their four children.

The 5-minute clip – which probably tested even God’s patience – featured voiceover paired with imagery of a choir and included expressions of both gratitude and regret.

Ye talked about everything from the happiness he felt in witnessing “God’s dream” of his “mini me” son Saint playing catch with Tom Brady as well as his “misactions” including a run for president “without proper preparation and no allies on either side.”

“Good lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat,” Ye said, referencing the infamous MAGA hats. “I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance, and that was hard for our marriage.”

He lamented his “overbearing” ego as well as the toll his “hair-trigger temper” and bipolar disorder have taken on his loved ones. “I went into a manic episode in 2016 and I was placed under heavy medication,” he said. “Since then, I went on and off the medication which left me susceptible to other episodes, which my wife and family and fans have had to endure.”

But Ye is now in a more contemplative place and he seems to be seeking forgiveness. “All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” he said. “I take accountability for my actions…the one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”

We don’t know if Ye got the memo, but his soon-to-be-ex-wife seems pretty darn happy with her new – and much younger – boy toy, Pete Davidson. Pray all you want, Ye, but it seems like your lady love has moved on, and by the looks of it, even God can’t – or won’t – intervene.
