Meghan Trainor Has 2 Toilets in Her Bathroom, And Her Reasoning Is Brilliant (Pay Close Attention, Guys)

The revelation that singer Megan Trainor has two toilets in her bathroom is at first disconcerting. (Like, how big of a deuce are you dropping that you need double the flush power?) But when you find out why the “All About Bass” singer doubled up on commodes, you’ll be aspiring to mimic her brilliance in your next living space.

According to her brother Ryan, who appeared with her on the “Why Won’t You Date Me?” podcast hosted by Nicole Byer, Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara do everything together…even No. 2.

“You guys are weirdos, bro,” Ryan Trainor said on the podcast. “They poop together! She’s pooping and Daryl’s like, ‘I’m going to go hang out with you now!'”

Trainor was quick to explain her potty philosophy. She said she doesn’t like using the toilet in public, and relies on Sabara to block the door when nature calls. What’s more, their schedules as parents to a 7-month-old son are synced, so double doody is a regular occurrence at her house.

“We just got a new house and we did construction — nobody knows this — but in our bathroom, there was one toilet,” she said. “A lot of times in the middle of the night when we’re with the baby, we gotta pee at the same time. So I was like, ‘Can we please have two toilets next to each other?'”

While she claims they pee side by side often, she swears they’ve only taken a dump together on the rare occasion.

She even took to Twitter to clarify the situation.

“To clear things up…we pooped ONCE together and we laughed and said never again…but he will hang out with me if I’m [poop emoji]ing cuz WE SOULMATES. And i legit miss him when I’m away from him. And we pee together obvi,” she wrote.

Hey, whatever works so long as it doesn’t kill the romance. People have built entire sex lives on much dirtier practices. His-and-her toilets seem like a no-brainer to us, though we’d probably appreciate doing our business behind closed doors.
