So, while we would all love to blurt “cash me ousside,” we’d also like to recognize the instant overnight celebrities who not only had their 15 minutes of fame but also gave us a lifetime of smiles.
Anytime we feel fear, we now exclaim, "Hide ya kids, hide ya wife!" Mr. Dodson was a Huntsville, Alabama, reporter's dream back in 2010 while being interviewed by a local TV newscaster. He is, and will forever be, the ultimate, charismatic local personality. In fact, he should run for governor.
Candace Payne, aka "Chewbacca mom," may have the most infectious laughter ever recorded in human history. Star Wars fan or not, you have to love this moment.
Thanks to his friend Joshua Holz, "Damn Daniel" (aka Daniel Lara), still has us laughing every time we see someone "back at it again with the white Vans."
"Linsanity" took over New York City back in 2012, leading the Knicks on an unpredictable winning streak. The Harvard grad was also the first American of Chinese descent to play in the NBA.
Nearly nine years ago, the "man with the golden voice" was found by a local reporter in Ohio on the side of the road. Williams was homeless at the time, and broke. Now, he works regular radio gigs and gives back to the homeless community.
