This Is What 16 Stages Of The Tour De France Looks Like
They say the Tour De France is one of the most grueling challenges known to man. After seeing Pawel Poljanski’s picture, I don’t want to argue against the claim.
Yeah, It’s a total horror show.
And guess what — there are still five more stages of the Tour following this picture. As of Tuesday night, Pojanski was in 75th place, an hour and 55 minutes behind the leader.
So how in the hell do the winner’s legs look after 21 stages?!
And what in God’s name makes your legs this way? According to this article, the cyclists are pushing themselves through so much extreme physical activity that the amount of blood pumping through their veins is about double the amount of a normal person at peak physical activity. That high level of blood being pushed into the legs for long periods of time means it still stays in the legs post-exercise.
Of course, Twitter reacted appropriately.
This looks like something created by a horror film makeup team. Wow
