Check Out The Two Ledas From The Final Season Of Orphan Black

To commemorate the final season of the original series Orphan Black, Space revealed today an exclusive image celebrating the central theme of sisterhood.

Inspired by iconic Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo’s double self-portrait The Two Fridas (Las dos Fridas), The Two Ledas showcases the mirror twins Helena and Sarah, and the intense bond between them, echoed by the vein and blood that unites them.

In the Season 5 premiere, a wounded Sarah, desperate to rescue Cosima, get off the island, and reunite with her family, journeys into the island’s interior, only to discover a mysterious village – the beating heart of the Neolution agenda. Meanwhile, a recovering Cosima reunites with Delphine and begins investigating the secrets of the Island under the watchful eye of Rachel who is now firmly in charge at the right-hand of the 170-year-old founder of Neolution, P.T. Westmorland.

Maslany won the Academy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2016 (and was nominated in 2015). The show has also amassed a number of Canadian Screen Awards as well as Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Orphan Black returns for its final season Saturday, June 10th at 10pm on Space, with catch up on Space.ca and Space GO.
