USC Football Player Charged With Rape, Sodomy

USC linebacker Osa Masina was charged with rape and sodomy Thursday.

The football player was dismissed from the team and the university last Friday. He was told to be vacated from the campus by Monday. Masina surrendered to police in Salt Lake City later on Thursday. A first-degree felony charge in Utah carries a sentence of five years-to-life in prison.

So what happened?

Allegedly, Masina drugged and raped a woman on two separate occasions back in July, recording at least one of the incidents on his phone.

TMZ Sports reported what they found after reading the search warrant from the LAPD investigation regarding the 19-year-old. Allegedly, Masina’s teammate, Don Hill, a USC sophomore linebacker, was involved.

After the frat party, the woman claims she was taken to Hill’s apartment — but insists she was “out of it” due to the Xanax and the booze. However, she remembers smoking weed.

“The next thing the victim recalls is having sex with Osa Chad Masina,” the search warrant says.

The woman claims she remembers Masina “holding her head and putting her mouth on his penis” while Hill had vaginal sex with her.

The woman says she later learned Masina had taken videos and pictures of them having sex without her knowledge and/or consent … and Snapchatted them to her ex-boyfriend. FYI — the woman’s ex-boyfriend is a football player at the University of Arizona …

… The woman claims she passed out and awoke to see him on top of her, engaging in anal sex with her. She also says he forced oral sex.

The incidents allegedly happened in LA and in Utah. The victim told police she had a rape kit administered. Masina told police the sex was consensual.

Hill, a redshirt sophomore, has also been released from the USC football team. Masina, who is also facing allegations of fondling and exploitation of a telecommunications device, is a former five-star prospect who finished with 25 tackles as a freshman last year.
