Kyle and Carl tease their charter experience in Greece on Below Deck Med
Carl told Bravo Insider that he and his castmates went on the yacht to celebrate Lindsay Hubbard’s 40th birthday. He said, “Lindsay, Kyle, and I over the years have always been like, ‘We should go on a yacht and do something.’ But we probably couldn’t have afforded it anyway cause it’s not a cheap endeavor, and our summers are always busy and crazy.”
He explained that the milestone birthday brought the core trio of Carl, Lindsay, and Kyle together for the special trip.
Carl also explained Lindsay’s enthusiasm for boating. He said, “Lindsay, being from Florida, loves boating. Her father is a big fisherman, her family loves boating, and it was something that her energy was driving, that kind of idea. So we were all like, ‘What? Yeah, let’s do it.’”
The Summer House cast celebrated Hubbard’s birthday aboard a Below Deck Mediterranean charter in Greece. Carl also discussed his friendship with Captain Sandy Yawn, who captained the yacht, according to Bravo.
Praising Sandy’s influence on his sobriety journey, Carl said, “She’s an inspiration to me, and I consider her a hero in the sobriety world just ’cause of how powerful and amazing her story is. And she’s helped a lot of people, and she’s been so kind to me. So to be able to spend time on the boat with an iconic captain, but also personally connect with her, on so many levels, it’s massive.”
Radke concluded that they connect on a deeper level. The yacht news also drew attention amid speculation about Cooke and Hubbard during their Greek yacht getaway. The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 12 and Summer House Season 11 crossover will air on Bravo in 2027, although the network has not announced an exact premiere date.
