According to In Touch Weekly, the actress is trying to keep their romance private. However, she reportedly enjoys spending time with someone as expressive as MGK.
“Dakota is doing her best to be low-key about their romance, but privately, she’s pretty addicted to being around somebody as passionate and flamboyant as MGK,” the source revealed.
The insider also suggested the musician has made considerable efforts to impress her. “He has done everything in his power to sweep Dakota off her feet,” they added.
She reportedly admires something deeper about the singer’s personality. “What she respects about MGK is his authenticity,” the insider explained. “For better or worse, he’s exactly the same person in private, behind closed doors, as he is on stage performing for thousands of fans,” they continued.
The pair have reportedly spent time together across the country since September. Their outings have fueled speculation about their developing relationship. MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, is 36.
The 37-year-old actress previously had an on-and-off relationship with Chris Martin. The pair were together for nearly eight years before reportedly splitting for good in 2025.
