Megyn Kelly has criticized Jennifer Lawrence’s changing appearance. She suggested that Lawrence may have gone too far with cosmetic procedures. Kelly made the comments on The Megyn Kelly Show after Lawrence’s latest photoshoot sparked online speculation.

During the show, Kelly praised Lawrence’s natural beauty before questioning whether she had undergone cosmetic procedures. “One of the most beautiful faces in America. And let me tell you, she’s not the first one to so dramatically change her face that it is now making national news,” Kelly said.
She continued, “I mean, everybody is stunned — they cannot believe she’s done it.”
Kelly compared Lawrence’s changing appearance with that of Renée Zellweger. The latter had faced significant scrutiny and cosmetic surgery speculation years ago. The host claimed that Zellweger’s appearance changed so dramatically that she became unrecognizable. Kelly suggested that Zellweger later had the results of an alleged procedure corrected.
“There’s nothing wrong with that; women do it, I’m not judging,” Kelly said. “I’m saying they went too far to the point where, when Renée Zellweger first got that done, she looked unrecognizable.”
Kelly then addressed Lawrence directly, pleading, “And Jennifer Lawrence, I am begging you to do the same thing.”
The comments followed Lawrence’s appearance in The Cut‘s October/November 2026 issue. In the interview, the actress spoke about her beauty routine, motherhood, and cosmetic treatments. She has openly discussed getting baby Botox, undergoing a breast lift, and considering a facelift in the future. However, she had previously cited aging and makeup to explain changes in her facial appearance rather than cosmetic surgery.
In the interview, the actress expressed that her interest in beauty has not diminished since becoming a mother. “I want to be a sexy mom,” she told the outlet.
She also discussed how she wanted to look when dropping off her children at school. “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her **** together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my **** together,” she said.
As speculation about her changing appearance continues, the Oscar-winning actress remains open about her beauty decisions.
