Angelina Pivarnick remains part of the Jersey Shore group chat despite missing a major cast celebration. Her absence from Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s wedding raised questions about her relationship with her co-stars. Now, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has shared an update on where things stand and whether the cast plans to work together again.
Snooki confirms Angelina Pivarnick remains in the Jersey Shore group chat
Polizzi discussed Pivarnick’s status during an interview with Page Six‘s “Virtual Reali-Tea.” She shared the update while promoting an upcoming live taping of her podcast, “It’s Happening,” with Joey Camasta.
“We’re still in our group chat, and we still want to work together,” Polizzi said. Her comments suggested that the cast remained open to working together despite the recent tension.
The update followed Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s surprise wedding in June. Farley married her longtime boyfriend, professional wrestler Zack Carpinello, at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Guests initially believed they were attending a screening of Farley’s new movie, “Nanny Cam.” Instead, they arrived at an intimate wedding with fewer than 50 guests.
Several Jersey Shore stars attended the celebration. Polizzi joined Deena Cortese and her husband, Chris Buckner, along with Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and her husband, Justin May. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino also attended with his wife, Lauren. Vinny Guadagnino and Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio reportedly received invitations but did not attend.
However, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Pivarnick did not receive invitations, according to Page Six. A source close to Pivarnick told the outlet that she was upset about the snub. The source also revealed that she declined Farley’s invitation to a pool party after the wedding.
“She’s upset. She’s just focusing on celebrating her 40th birthday this weekend with her close friends,” the insider said.
Despite the wedding controversy, Polizzi’s latest comments suggest that the cast has not ruled out working with Pivarnick again. Although the group has yet to announce its next television project, Polizzi remains hopeful about continuing Jersey Shore. For now, Pivarnick’s place in the group chat suggests that communication between the cast members remains open.
