Porsha Williams discovered that one Bravo star was every bit as uninhibited off-camera as she appeared on television. The Real Housewives of Atlanta personality revealed who surprised her most during The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and her answer came with plenty of affection.
The 45-year-old joined Vicki Gunvalson, Luann de Lesseps, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow for the franchise’s 20th anniversary celebration. Rather than another round of the usual Housewives feuds, Williams found an opportunity to get closer to familiar faces and discover what made them tick.

Speaking exclusively to OK!, Williams called the experience exceptional and praised the cast assembled from different cities. She particularly enjoyed getting to know Giudice beyond their brief encounters at BravoCon, while Bryant already held a special place in her circle.
“Gizelle is my girl. Luann is crazy. Okay, that girl is crazy, but I love her type of crazy,” Williams said.
De Lesseps ultimately stood out because her personality matched the version viewers knew from television. Williams joked that she might discuss the Real Housewives of New York City alum more than de Lesseps discussed herself, then explained what made their connection so entertaining.
“Over the years, I’ve loved how fun and free-spirited she is, and she’s that times 10 in person,” Williams told the publication.
Gunvalson also challenged Williams’ expectations. Initially, the Georgia native predicted they would be “like oil and vinegar” because Gunvalson seemed uptight. However, she felt the longtime Real Housewives of Orange County star loosened up as filming progressed.
Giudice made a different impression. Williams described the Real Housewives of New Jersey star as “really sensitive,” “really warm and quiet,” adding that she liked her.
The biggest difference from RHOA was the atmosphere. Williams explained that Housewives often entered group settings ready to defend themselves, anticipating confrontations before they began. This time, the cast focused on celebrating rather than settling scores.
“Our beefs were very small,” she said, noting that nobody was demanding financial details or preparing for major showdowns.
That lighter experience also influenced what Williams hoped to bring to the new RHOA season.
Away from Bravo, she was also promoting Charmin Ultra Strong’s wider sheets, calling the partnership a natural fit for her personality and high standards at home.
