Bronwyn Newport calls out Lisa Barlow and her RHOSLC castmates ahead of the reunion
During Bravo Fan Fest, Newport opened up about her co-stars and how her perspective changed after watching the season back.
“You know, it’s always different to film it than to watch it back. And I work with… a group of women who love to wait till I’m out of the room to say how they feel about me,” she said.
Newport lost her father while also going through her divorce from Todd Bradley. She said filming felt especially difficult during that period.
“It was really intense when I was living it. I was trying to do all the things to be happy… but I didn’t know I was in the hot seat… The whole cast did an interview and said I was in the hot seat – so, see you at the reunion, ladies. Let’s go,” she said, as reported by Reality Blurb.
Newport also addressed tension from the cast trip to San Francisco. During a party she hosted, Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks began singing “Hypocrisy and Bulls**t.”
Newport became upset and asked them to leave. The pair moved to another area and continued singing.
She had organized the event so her RHOSLC co-stars could meet her longtime friends. Newport said the disruption made the moment especially frustrating.
She also reflected on how her relationships with the cast have changed.
“Obviously Lisa and I’s friendship has gone to hell and back. Well, not back, actually; probably never back,” she said.
Newport also discussed Angie Katsanevas. She said she was often surprised by comments Angie made on the show and in the press.
With the reunion approaching, Newport appears ready to address those tensions directly.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
