Hudson marked his 25th birthday with a lengthy Instagram post about his life, past mistakes and relationship with Ariana. According to Reality Blurb, he also defended Ariana and her family against online criticism.
Ariana responded with one pointed sentence: “So much to say publicly, yet nothing to say privately. weird.”
Hudson quickly fired back, calling her comment “the craziest” thing he had read and saying he wanted to make a larger point. He also offered to delete the post if Ariana wanted him to.
Hudson later deleted the original post. However, he continued referencing the situation on Instagram.
Before Ariana responded, Hudson reflected on what went wrong between them. He apologized for failing to recognize how much she was hurting and admitted that he had focused too much on how happy the relationship made him.
Their breakup has already played out publicly on Next Gen NYC. Hudson also previously revealed that he became “readdicted to drugs” following their split. Ariana defended him during the reunion while discussing the difficult period he experienced.
The former couple first met in high school and spent years in an on-and-off relationship. They briefly reconciled in 2026 before splitting again.
Hudson appeared to frame his lengthy reflection as both an apology and a defense of Ariana. Ariana’s response, however, made clear that she questioned why those thoughts were being shared publicly instead of with her privately.
