Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley and Kelly Bensimon have received the Golden Kettle lifetime achievement award. The honor comes ahead of their The Golden Life premiere.
The former Real Housewives of New York City stars accepted the award at Page Six’s second-annual “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards on Tuesday night. The event celebrated some of reality TV’s biggest names.

Presented by Tri-State Cadillac, the Golden Kettle was given to the five reality TV veterans by The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos. She called it the “most prestigious award of the night.” Vassos said, “‘Golden’ isn’t just about age; it’s about experience, it’s about longevity, it’s about knowing exactly who you are — and never being afraid to let the world see it.”
The women, whose Palm Beach-based spinoff premieres later this month, took the stage together. De Lesseps thanked E! “for believing in us and bringing the OGs back together, the cast back together,” adding, “It’s been an amazing ride.”
Kelly Bensimon, who worked for Page Six in 2007, highlighted the full-circle moment. “I used to whisper about all of you guys, and now you guys are whispering about us,” she said. “It’s unbelievable.”
Ramona Singer, who revealed about her lower facelift during a conversation about the show, credited fans for bringing the group back to television. She said, “All the fans are constantly on social media saying, ‘We want you girls back, [we want] you OGs back on TV,’ so we owe a big one to you.”
Sonja Morgan ended the speech with some playful shade. She thanked the New York Post “for always being there for us, and for fact-checking — unlike some of my co-stars.” She joked, “If we check the facts, we wouldn’t have a show, would we? And I’m lucky to still be with you all.”
The Golden Kettle is the VRT Awards’ lifetime achievement honor. Hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy selected the honor to celebrate legendary reality TV stars.
De Lesseps also won “Musician of the Year.” She said she was “honored” by the recognition and called it “a testament to the entertainment I’ve brought to viewers over the past nearly two decades on television.”
The VRT Awards also featured fan-voted winners, including Ciara Miller, Kyle Cooke, Meredith Marks, Rosie DiMare and the cast of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
