Prince Harry Has Yet to Make One Major Reunion Since Returning to UK — Report

Prince Harry is back in his home country after spending six years living in California. However, despite returning with his family on August 26, the Duke of Sussex has yet to meet his father, King Charles III, in person.

Prince Harry has yet to reunite with King Charles in person more than a month after returning to the UK

HELLO! reports that Harry has not seen his father in person since returning to the UK. However, the father and the youngest son have reportedly spoken over the phone. The outlet states that the King has spent much of September in Scotland. He briefly returned to London earlier this month for several official engagements. As a result, it has become more difficult for him to arrange a meeting with his son and his grandchildren, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5.

Prince Harry and Meghan, who stepped back as senior royals and began a new life in the US in 2020, now reside at a private property in the Cotswolds area, outside London. The couple has also been seen at popular local venues, including the Falkland Arms and Soho Farmhouse in Great Tew.

Harry and King Charles last met in person in July. During the visit, Harry and Meghan brought Archie and Lilibet to the monarch’s private Highgrove House in Gloucestershire. The children met with their grandfather and Queen Camilla. It was the first time King Charles had met Meghan and his grandchildren since 2022.

After the Duke of Sussex was stripped of state-funded security and lost his attempt to secure higher levels of protection in the UK, Harry told the BBC in 2025, “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point,” adding, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more; life is precious.”
