A senior royal has allegedly called out Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid the release of Charles Spencer’s Princess Diana memoir. The book, titled “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” made several bombshell claims. These have sparked controversy around the royal family, especially King Charles.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly called out by Queen Camilla
Queen Camilla is reportedly furious about the Princess Diana memoir. A source told The National Examiner that she is angry with King Charles and wants to know why the lawyers they pay failed to stop the book’s publication. They claimed, “She’s worked so hard to move past the whole narrative that she was the evil ‘other woman’ and now here she is, being dragged right back through the mud. She’s horrified and wants some payback.”
The source claimed that Camilla believes “this was avoidable and she’s furious that more wasn’t done.” They added, “People around her are walking on eggshells right now because she’s raging mad at everyone, including Charles.” Allegedly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the list of people the queen is angry with.
“She is convinced [Prince Harry and Meghan Markle] will have been encouraging this all from behind the scenes at the exact same time as she and the king were so graciously welcoming them and turning the other cheek,” the source said. “She says the absolute duplicitousness of it all shouldn’t come as a shock after what Harry and Meghan have done and she’s furious that Charles ever convinced her to play nice with them.”
After an excerpt from the book made headlines before its release, Buckingham Palace released an official statement. “His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and color memory in ways others do not recognize, even many years after such a loss,” it read. The Sussexes have not addressed the controversy surrounding the book yet.
