The singer fronts the Fall 2026 Playboy issue, which hits newsstands Sept. 29. In an exclusive People preview, she discusses the shoot and her personal life. Her biggest confession centers on the connection between sexuality and self-confidence.

“Sex, sexuality, and confidence are all very sacred things to me,” Charli xcx says. She adds that lingerie and a fully tailored suit can both make her feel sexy. Jenner then asks when she feels most confident.

“When I’m on stage and when I’m with George,” the singer replies.

Charli xcx and George Daniel married in 2025 on July 19 and later held a second wedding celebration in Sicily.

According to the singer, they would love each other just as deeply without marriage. That outlook echoes her earlier comments about becoming a wife. She previously opened up about marrying Daniel and admitted that she never strongly pictured marriage for herself.

The Playboy interview also connects two major parts of her life. Jenner conducts the interview and co-stars with Charli xcx in The Moment.

Their collaboration has already attracted attention. The pair previously went viral in matching bikinis while working on the project.

Daniel also influences her creative work. Charli xcx recently said he inspired “I’m Afraid” and helped her explore different sides of herself with greater confidence. Now, she brings that same confidence to the Playboy cover.

Ultimately, the confession focuses less on provocation. Instead, Charli xcx emphasizes feeling comfortable with her sexuality, her marriage and herself.
