Denise Richards and Casper Van Dien reunite on screen for the first time since starring together in Starship Troopers
Deadline reports that Richards and Van Dien recently finished filming No Free Lunch in Hamilton. The thriller is their first film together since the 1990s film Starship Troopers. The film is part of Horizon Line and March On Productions’ slate, the third film in their line-up. Silent Nightfall and Greatest Actress are also on that slate.
No Free Lunch follows a mother and daughter whose college drop-off takes a dangerous turn. Arcadia Kendal and Lara Daans play the mother and daughter who fight to survive after their kidnapping. Sebastian Pigott plays a former surgeon who kidnaps them while trying to fulfill a promise to his late mother. He puts them through a series of sadistic games as he plans to marry one of them.
Richards and Van Dien play detectives and FBI agents who race to save the mother and daughter. According to the synopsis, the two have only the thinnest of leads to find. The movie also stars Kendal, Pigott, Daans and Annie Malee, who appears in Satisfaction. The thriller is directed by Damian Lee and produced by Bennet De Brabandere and executive produced by Richard Salvatore.
