The Mormon Wives cast returns to complete interviews without Taylor
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has seemingly addressed the situation involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. Cast members returned to film interviews without Taylor, with a message appearing before the release of the first episode, according to Us Weekly.
The message read, “In May 2026, the Secret Lives cast returned to finish filming interviews following a two-month production pause without Taylor.”
The message was followed by clips showing Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Jessi Draper, Mayci Neeley, Layla Taylor and Miranda Hope discussing the headlines in individual confessionals.
The video then flashed back to January, when the majority of the story unfolded and production paused. The latter part of the season featured other members of MomTok except Taylor Frankie Paul and Whitney Leavitt.
The Mormon Wives cast members remain hopeful about their return. However, Paul’s involvement with the show is still unclear. The clip ended with the message, “To be continued.”
Earlier, Paul admitted hooking up with Dakota Mortensen, saying, “I came home [in January]. Night one we were texting … and then I don’t know how it got to the point where he came over to my house, and it was late.”
She also added that the situation was complicated, as she was already engaged to Doug Mason.
Paul ultimately ended her engagement to Doug Mason. She was later romantically involved with ex Ben Lambert while filming the season.
The Season 5 clip also showed Paul and Mortensen arguing in front of a friend group.
Soon after the argument, reports emerged that production had paused following the alleged incident.
While the Mormon Wives cast returned to film interviews after the incident, Paul was missing from the group, and her return remains unclear.
