Lennox shared her comments in an Instagram video. Lennox said she struggled to understand support for the killing of children. She questioned why such deaths could appear normal to people. The singer also described the destruction in Gaza as deeply disturbing.

“I find it so hard to believe that grown men and women could support the slaughtering in the thousands of children,” Lennox said. She then questioned the apparent acceptance of Palestinian suffering. Her comments focused heavily on children affected by the conflict.

Lennox also referenced reports about bodies being recovered from destroyed buildings. She described the situation as being treated casually by some observers. The singer argued that Palestinians were being subjected to increasingly severe conditions.

She questioned how Palestinians could be removed from Gaza through continued military action. Lennox specifically mentioned bombing, shooting, starvation and illness. She also criticized the shrinking areas available for Palestinians to survive.

“I don’t know. It is so insane,” Lennox said. She repeated that the situation was “so completely insane.” Her comments expressed anger at what she viewed as widespread indifference.

In her caption, Lennox invoked the phrase “Never Again.” She connected the phrase to lessons that should have followed the Holocaust. Lennox also referenced the destruction caused during World War II.

“We were ‘duped’ by ‘NEVER AGAIN’,” Lennox wrote. “We also believed that perhaps the world might have finally learned a lesson after the Holocaust… The millions of lives lost. The horrendous destruction of the 2nd WW,” she said.

Lennox questioned how Christians and parents could support the situation. She accused the international community of simply watching events unfold. She described the conflict as a “slow drip genocide.”

Her message ended with calls to protect Palestinians in Gaza. Lennox used hashtags including “#letgazalive” and “#stopkillingchildren.” The post added to her longstanding public advocacy for humanitarian causes.
